What’s To Come

What’s up Fear Fighters? Since I didn’t get a chance to bring it in with you guys last week, I want to say HAPPY NEW YEAR. In spite of EVERYTHING, we made it. Give yourself a handclap because you definitely deserve some applause.

For those who were interested in knowing if I reached my end of the year goal, I did not but even though I didn’t quite have the numbers I wanted, that’s okay because this year I’m headed towards bigger and better. Speaking of the years, this one already seems pretty familiar if you ask me. Has 2020 made a secret comeback? 😂 If so, I’m sure we can stand the heat once again.

Anyway, the end of the year for a lot of people is all about resolutions, change, and manifestations. We know exactly how it goes. However, while we put these changes and etc into the atmosphere, we don’t always put our all into getting anything done. As the months go by, we will think to ourselves “wow I haven’t done anything I said I would do” or “ I haven’t done anything to enjoy my life yet.” Long story short, we miss out and have to carry the regret of it all the time. One thing that I’ve learned about life is that you only get one. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m sick of not enjoying the one life that I have.

I want y’all to know that you don’t have to fear missing out on anything this year. You just have to be determined enough to go after all that you want. Here are some things you can try:

  1. Vision Boards- If you didn’t know already, Vision Boards are a crafty way to get people to visually see the things that they want. You usually cut out pictures from magazines or books that you feel connected to and place them on a poster board. The idea is simple and everyone can participate in making one.
  2. Bucket List Challenge- I have yet to try this but because I have a bucket list box I figured why not ? So think about all the things you want to do in your life. Don’t worry about how others might feel about them because this is your list. After you write them down, find a calendar where you can see all the dates at once or just go online and find a date generator. Randomly select a date and a card and make it your business to get that particular thing done. I’ve noticed that we let lots of outside things interrupt us from doing what we really want to do. This year I want you to take your destiny into your own hands.
  3. Meditation- As the winter solstice approached during the month of December, It was advised that we should begin manifesting. One way to do so was by meditating. I believe that when practiced the right way, meditation can indeed bring us closer to the things we want to make happen. Try taking some time out of your day and go to a quiet spot. Relax and really focus on what you want to achieve.
  4. Write down your dreams- Dreams, while they might be crazy at times, can reveal a lot to you about life. If you can’t remember the entire dream try to pick out the pieces you do remember and write them down. If you don’t want to invest in a dream book, there are websites online that give you insight on what certain symbols mean. Use this to decipher life’s messages to yourself and act on them.

If anyone decides to try these, let me know where they get you. Until next time, Stay fearless and keep fighting. 💚
